Q: What is Mediation?
A: Mediation is a facilitated meeting hosted by a neutral third party which brings two or more opposing parties together to discuss their differences and resolve fairly, confidentially, and reasonably.
Q: What is Arbitration?
A: Arbitration is a forum in which the parties and their attorneys present their positions before an impartial third party, who renders a binding enforceable specific award obligation. If the parties do not stipulate, in advance, that the award is binding, it could serve as a basis for the parties’ further settlement negotiations.
Q: What do you charge for your services?
A: Arbitrations, half day and full day mediation sessions are per party. Additional fees may apply to those mediation and arbitration sessions that run longer than the agreed upon time.

Q: How long is a mediation session?
A: Typically, half day mediation sessions are four hours and full day mediation sessions are eight hours.
Q: How long is an arbitration session?
A: The length of time that the arbitration process takes, varies depending on the circumstances. However, it can usually last a few days or a few weeks.
Q: Do you travel to conduct mediations or arbitrations?
A: Yes. If travel is paid by the parties, I am available to travel. Please refer to my fee sheet for details.

Q: What if I have to cancel a mediation or arbitration?
